Fabian Cornejo

Fabian Cornejo is a rising junior interested in exploring the intersection of power, energy, and sustainability. He intends on pursuing an Individually Designed Major in Engineering combining focuses on power engineering and sustainability, taking coursework from both the Electrical Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering departments. This summer, Fabian will work in Professor Ram Rajagopal's Sustainable Systems Lab alongside PhD student Grant Wilkins. There, he will conduct research on grid modeling, analyzing the impacts of data centers and current interconnection challenges. He is excited to use various tools and data to better understand and address these grid challenges and impacts. Outside of academics, Fabian enjoys biking outdoors, playing video games, and is an avid swimmer with past experience as a lifeguard at his local pool.
