Ariana Carmody
Ariana is a 2nd year master’s student in the Atmosphere/Energy program within the civil & environmental engineering department. She loves all things energy but is especially interested in offshore wind and the intersectionality between energy and environmental justice. She grew up in Colorado and attended the University of Colorado Boulder for undergrad. At Boulder, she studied environmental engineering with a minor in energy engineering and competed in the Collegiate Wind Competition. After graduating, she worked in the energy industry on construction plans for solar and battery storage project, interned at NREL, and most recently interned at WECC through the Stanford Shultz fellowship. Outside of school she enjoys boxing, hanging out with friends, and considers herself to be quite the pizza connoisseur.
