What is Explore Energy?
Explore Energy is the student engagement and energy education program of the Precourt Institute for Energy. Our mission is to enhance and amplify the Stanford student experience around energy. Why energy?
Explore Energy serves as a nexus for the rising number of students who are seeking more opportunities to both contribute to and drive faster energy transitions. We develop education offerings, catalyze connection, and build synergy within (and beyond) Stanford's energy ecosystem. Our goal is to provide students with a toolbox of resources and personalized matching to a vast range of opportunities through our program, as well as our on and off campus partners.

Join a student club like Stanford Energy Club, which is Stanford's largest student-led energy organization. Clubs are a great way to meet your peers and build community.

Browse our website as a one-stop shop. We have a variety of resources and tools to supercharge your student experience and ability to tackle complex energy challenges.

Take an Energy Fundamentals course like Understand Energy. These courses build your energy knowledge and provide a gateway to other energy courses at Stanford.

Apply for an internship. Whether you are interested in energy research, policy, or something else, there are many opportunities to acquire hands-on experience.
